THIS IS SUPAY; INCAN AND QUECHUAN GOD OF DEATH AND RULER OF THE UNDERWORLD. SUPAY WOULD SOMETIMES TAKE FORM OF AN ANIMAL TO VISIT CHILDREN, HOPING THEY WOULD JOIN HIM IN THE UNDERWORLD AND HE IS LINKED TO THE INCAN PRACTICE OF CHILD SACRIFICE. HIS APPEARANCE IN TEXTS DESCRIBES HIM AS A PRECIOUS METAL MINER. HE HOLDS TOOLS AND A NAKED FLAME TO LIGHT THE WAY FOR SOULS IN THEIR DESCENT INTO HIS HOME WHERE HE WOULD ENTERTAIN THE DEAD CHILDREN FOR ETERNITY.
